Who we are
Thematic Development is a company from The Netherlands previously known as AV Syncworks, with over 20 years of worldwide experience in the Themed Entertainment industry. Aiming to bridge the gap between creativity, programming and technical functionality for rides, rollercoasters, haunted houses, escape rooms, and multimedia shows.
Since October 2024, AV Syncworks has changed their name to Thematic Development to better suit the company profile and market. It is also around this time that we proudly announce that we are the distributor in Europe for all things Alcorn McBride Inc. Thematic Development is proud to be part of the Alcorn McBride family and aims to serve the EU market as best as possible.

Although Theme Parks are the bulk of our clients, we do deliver to museums, expositions, and even product presentations.

The short answer is : Yes ! Our qualified technicians can deal with any ride, haunted house or attraction.

You can contact us 7 days a week and 24 hours per day. Usually we reply on service calls within the hour.

For most cases we do not rent out equipment. We do have trusted partners that we will happily refer you to.

Founder Frank Ruisch literally grew up with a rollercoaster in his backyard and was employed fulltime age 16 to 26 by Theme Park “Walibi Holland” for over 10 years as Sound Designer and Show Programmer.
After working for over 10 years at Walibi Holland, Frank started his own company “AV Syncworks” which produced soundtracks and show programming services for the Themed Entertainment industry.
